Since I plan on shooting for around 500 rwhp, I needed a new fuel pump. I was going to buy one of the newer holley fuel pumps, but decided that $325 was to much. Lots of people have good luck with the Bosch 044, so I went with one also. I got mine off of E-bay for $136.00 with free shipping. I then paid $26.00 for 2 8an fittings so it would fit my current fuel lines. I made a homemade mounting bracket out of some hose clamps and an old silicon coupling I had laying around.
Once the car is up and running I will get a video clip on how loud it is running and a picture of its final placement and hook up. Here is a pick of my low tech diy mount for the Bosch 044 inline fuel pump.
